Sympathies go out to those who might have experienced a classic 'bad beat' in last night's game, when the Cowboys partially blocked a punt by the Bengals with less than 2 mins left in the 4th quarter and the score tied, 20-20 ... only to have a Dallas player touch but not recover the loose ball, and then have Cincinnati re-gain possession of the ball and promptly score a touchdown on the ensuing series of plays which allowed the away team to 'miraculously' win the game by 7 points and, in the process, make unfortunate 'losers' of everyone who was previously sitting in the catbird's seat, with the spread at Dallas +5.5.
Tough to have a cover blown like that ... with a single 'missed' play that will usually happen, at most, only 1 time per season.
